GHI-1
GHI-1, the engine behind Pebs
GHI-1 is the agent model system developed in-house by Nox that powers Pebs. It is designed for agentic, multi-step workflows: it plans a task, executes each step with tools such as live web search and the Cloud Browser, and returns a deliverable per step. GHI-1 has five thinking levels, from Extra Low to Max, each backed by a named model.

What GHI-1 does
GHI-1 runs a plan → execute → report loop. A planner turns your goal into short, concrete steps. An executor works through them one at a time and can only end a step with an explicit finish, so every step carries its own deliverable rather than a description of having done it. Follow-ups reopen the same task.
Built for agentic work
- Multi-step plans with a user-facing result per step.
- Live web search and page reading, folded into summaries with source links.
- Works with the Cloud Browser: isolated session per task, live view, takeover and hand-back.
- Secure login, verification-code and card entry that bypass the model entirely.
- Confirm-first for sends, purchases, submissions and external changes.
- Writes text, Markdown, CSV and JSON files you can download.
- Reads Nox Memories, honouring the Settings → Memory toggle.
Thinking levels and the models behind them
| Level | Model |
|---|---|
| Extra Low | Vela 2 |
| Low | Orion Flash 2 |
| High | Orion 2 · Medium |
| Extra High | Orion 2 · Ultra |
| Max | Kimi K3 |
To keep tasks quick, mechanical steps such as signing in, entering verification codes and watching a page run on Vela 2 at any level, and move up to Orion Flash 2 if a step gets stuck. Screenshots of the Cloud Browser are read by Orion Flash 2.
Budgets and honesty
Each step has an action budget. A step that keeps looping is first told to finish with what it has, then stopped instead of burning credits. Nothing unapproved is ever claimed as done. Every model call is metered against your plan.
GHI-1 and Pebs
GHI-1 and Pebs are one system. GHI-1 is the engine; a Peb, Miso or Orbit, is who you talk to.
Questions
Is GHI-1 a single model?
GHI-1 is a model system. Its five thinking levels map to named models, and routine browser steps run on Vela 2 with automatic escalation to Orion Flash 2.
Which GHI-1 level should I pick?
Extra Low and Low for quick lookups and everyday tasks. High for research and comparisons. Extra High and Max for long, complex workflows.
Does GHI-1 see my passwords?
No. Sign-ins, verification codes and card details go through secure cards straight into the Cloud Browser and are scrubbed from everything the model reads.
