How to set up a daily routine with an AI agent
To automate a daily chore with an AI agent, pick a job that repeats and lives on the web, write it as one self-contained goal with a finish line, run it once to check the result, then ask the agent to repeat it on a schedule. In Pebs you say "every weekday at 7:30" and can pause or delete the schedule any time.

Pick a chore that repeats and lives on the web
A morning briefing, a stock or price check, a weekly roundup of listings, today's opening hours. If you do it from a browser, a Peb can usually do it.
- 02
Write it as one goal with a finish line
"Check the weather and transit alerts for my commute and give me three lines." The last clause tells the agent when it is done.
- 03
Make it stand alone
Each scheduled run starts a fresh task, so name the page, the place, the product or the filters in the goal itself. Do not rely on an earlier chat.
- 04
Run it once now
Read the result. If it is not what you wanted, adjust the wording and run it again before you repeat it.
- 05
Ask for the schedule
Say "every weekday at 7:30", "every Friday" or "on the first of the month". Pebs runs it at your local time, and a missed run collapses into one.
- 06
Choose how to be told
Turn on the optional email, which tells you when a task finishes or needs you and links to the task. Pause, resume or delete the schedule under Scheduled.
Three routines to copy
- Morning briefing: "Every weekday at 7:30, check the weather and transit alerts for my commute and give me three lines."
- Price watch: "Every Friday, check whether this jacket is in stock in my size and give me yes or no with the link."
- Weekly roundup: "Every Monday, list the apartment listings posted in the last seven days that match these filters, with prices and links."
Tips for routines that keep working
- Ask for sources. Links let you check the answer in a few seconds.
- Keep each routine to one job. Two small schedules are easier to fix than one large one.
- Ask for a file when you want to keep the result, such as a CSV of options.
- Keep approvals on. A routine can read and compare on its own; sends, purchases and submissions still wait for your yes.
What a schedule will not do
A scheduled run starts fresh, so it does not remember what the last run found and cannot tell you what changed since then; ask for the current state each time. It also works through its own Cloud Browser on the web rather than through your phone, inbox or files, and it is not a doctor. For the full list of everyday jobs, see everyday tasks.
